Waldorf education balances academic, artistic and practical activities to prepare students for life. A rigorous academic and classical education studies world cultures, geography, history, language arts, mathematics, science and foreign language. The whole child is engaged in the learning process, and every subject – including math and science – is taught using movement, drawing, painting, music, storytelling and rhythm, to endow the growing child with a lifelong sense of wonder and a joy of learning.  Important sensory-motor skill development is practiced with handwork, and the frequent exposure to music is proven to expand brain capacity and support intellectual flexibility.
